  • Electrical Engineer

    General Description of Duties: (Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following)

    Responsibilites:

    • Design electrical parts of the transformer for every job assigned;
    • Create bill of materials required for advance purchase orders;
    • Prepares core and coil manufacturing drawings;
    • Coordinate with colleagues responsible of Mechanical Design, Procurement, manufacturing and Sales.
    • Responsible for preparing quote Designs per customer specifications;
    • Prepare internal design documentation to other design areas (Mechanical design, control) as well as test requirements.
    • Skilled to perform designs of complex transformers
    • Validate designs using simulation methods (FEM analysis)
    • Participate in Design review meetings with customer / consultants

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering Discipline.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in working in an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment, with ability to read and understand technical documents.
    • Relevant experience in transformer or other power-related products
    • Preferred to have knowledge of applicable codes and standards including ANSI, IEEE, NEC, CSA and others.
    • Detailed working knowledge and in-depth experience with engineering modeling software.
    • Proficiency in use of, MRP tools, Working knowledge and skill with Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
    • Complete accountability for one’s own work, and oversight of the work of others.
    • Creative thinker. Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with attention to details.
    • Ability to train, coach and assist junior team members

  • Mechanical Engineer

  • Procurement Specialist

    General Description of Duties: (Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following)

    Responsibilites:

    • Plan, purchase, and monitor the flow of materials from supplier to final destination to ensure optimal inventory levels

    • Analysis and review of demand data in MRP to support purchasing and planning decisions both short and long term to ensure continuity of supply.

    • Responsible for preparing RFQ specifications, receiving and evaluating RFQs.

    • Create POs and follow-up with suppliers as necessary to ensure on-time delivery, expediting as necessary.

    • Source new parts with current or potential suppliers

    • Evaluate supplier capabilities to determine appropriate source selection

    • Identify potential savings opportunities and work with cross-functional initiatives to achieve financial goals.

    • Develop and maintain integrated purchasing systems (VMI, Kanban, etc.)

    • Resolve problems, reconcile vendor returns, and complete NCRs

    • Maintain and update part master information in ERP system as needed

    • Develop and/or change SOPs and work instructions; assist in documentation to ISO standards

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements/Preferred Qualifications:

    • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

    • 2+ years’ experience in supply chain with a focus on procurement/inventory control

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    • CPSM/APICS certification a plus

    • ISO 9001:2015 experience a plus

    • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel; ERP/MRP experience (M1 a plus)

      • Ability to manipulate and analyze data and reporting

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Strong negotiation skills

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    • Ability to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment

    General Description of Duties:
    (Job duties include, but, are not limited to the following)

    Job Description

    • Perform mechanical operations necessary in transformer assembly.
      Read and interpret prints, wiring schematics and written instructions
    • Usage of various electrical devices to test control wiring
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. of material
    • Work off of ladders, lifts and scaffolds
    • Ability to work on platforms
    • Use tools such as saws, grinders, drill presses, etc., safely and with efficiency
    • Candidate will be trained in the use of fork trucks and cranes

  • Winder

    General Description of Duties: (Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following)

    Job Description – Winder

    • Operate wire-coiling machines to wind wire or sheet coils used in transformers.
    • Review work orders and specifications to determine materials needed and types of parts to be processed.  
    • Must have ability to read and interpret winding sheets, drawings, and sketches
    • Operate winding lathes, punches, brakes, slitters, and shears
    • Cut, strip, and bend wire leads at ends of coils, using pliers and wire scrapers.
    • Select and load materials such as work pieces, objects, and machine parts onto equipment used in winding processes.
    • Record production and operational data on specified forms.
    • Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation, and coils, using hand tools.
    • Stop machines to remove completed components using overhead cranes.
    • Accurately examine and test components using measuring devices; and record test results.
    • Apply solutions or glue to wired electrical components using hand tools; and bake components.
    • Must have ability to use brazing and welding equipment.
    • Interpret and carry out verbal instructions from designated persons or supervisors
    • Ability to meet the company’s standards for safety, quality and quantity of work
    • Must have own tools

    Material Prep Duties and Responsibilities

    • Read and interpret winding sheets, drawings and sketches to fabricate parts required for winding coils
    • Read and interpret core sheets, drawings and sketches to fabricate core insulation parts.
    • Read and interpret assembly sheets, drawings and sketches to fabricate parts required for lead structures
    • Operate machinery including punches, brakes, slitters, shears, saws, routers, drills, sanders, cranes and fork trucks as needed
    • Efficient usage of brazing and welding equipment
    • Use various hand tools as needed
    • Accurate use of various measuring devices
    • Interpret and carry out verbal instructions from designated persons or supervisors

  • Welder Fabricator

    General Description of Duties:

    (Job duties include, but, are not limited to the following)

    Welder Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

    • Cutting and joining metal parts and various other articles, applying tools like mig-welder, plasma cutter, arc welder, chop saw, oxyacetylene torch etc.
    • Designing and fabricating the equipment and parts for meeting the special or unusual needs, using the manufacturer specifications, calculator, measuring devices, drawings etc.
    • Operating other equipment such as a grinder, band saw, along with various power and hand tools.
    • Designing and creating holding jigs and overhead cranes that aid in fabrication of the parts in various numbers.
    • Maintaining a record of all the work completed so as to facilitate the accounting activities.
    • Maintaining routine inventory supplies that are used for operating the welding unit via inspection of stocks and ordering fresh stock as and when required.

    Welder Fabricator Skills and Specifications

    • Knowledge of the properties and characteristics of metals used for cutting, welding and forming objects and of various welding fluxes and rods.
    • Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards, procedures and practices of the trade.
    • Skilled in identifying the proper power and hand tools in the safest possible manner and various equipment’s.
    • Skilled in operating fork lifts and overhead cranes.

    Welder Fabricator Education and Qualifications

    • Welder fabricators are expected to pass relevant skills exam.
    • Basic mathematics skills
    • Knowledge of welding symbols and blueprint reading skills.
    • Ability to work with complicated welding tools like ox-fuel, plasma, mag-drills, etc.
