The Buffalo-based manufacturer Niagara Transformer is expanding its business and changing the company name to Niagara Power Transformer.
Having started in a former Buffalo trolley barn in 1924 as a manufacturer of small dry type and pole top transformers, the company now has almost a century of experience.
The company has introduced new technologies, expanded their manufacturing facility and broadened their testing capabilities. Having in mind the company’s evolution, Niagara Transformer decided to align their corporate name with their vision for the future, while maintaining a connection to their origins.
By changing their name to Niagara Power Transformer, the company wishes to start a new chapter in its history, while maintaining their standards of manufacturing special application and medium power transformers and providing their customers with dependable power solutions.
