Solomon Corporation enters strategic partnership with Niagara Power Transformer

Niagara Power Transformer was founded in 1933 and is a leader in the design and manufacture of new transformers intended to cover the widest spectrum of the world’s transformer applications. More quality solutions for our customers “Niagara has dedicated personnel to support this initiative in sales and operations,” Mitch said. “We will allocate sales and marketing resources to find and sort these opportunities.” Solomon’s nationwide direct sales force are experts in the repair of transformers and other electrical equipment. Our relationships and expertise in the repair industry combined with Niagara’s proven success in building high voltage and specialty equipment provides the foundation for a successful partnership. All the equipment provided through this partnership will be labeled and processed just as Solomon equipment built in the rest of our facilities. The requirements for building Class II power transformers is a significant investment of time and resources. Rather than developing these capabilities internally, Niagara, which is a proven leader in this space, will provide these capabilities. This partnership expands Solomon’s capabilities and product offerings to include:

  • Up to 138 kV (currently 69kV)
  • Up to 650 kV BIL (currently 350BIL)

    • Mining duty
    • Marine duty
